For the 64th birthday party in honor of the CEO of Coca Cola, Bass Designs created an invitation based on the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album. The record sleeve cover featured a portrait of the honoree and a call to “Come Together.” The back cover featured the lyrics to “When I’m Sixty-Four” and “With a Little Help From My Friends”.
The package also included a gift box containing “groovy gear” such as “granny” glasses and a peace sign for invitees to wear, T-shirts and a Ticket to Ride on the Magical Mystery Tour of the World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium. “Help” t-shirts were created for the staff and gifts at the event. All illustrations and retouching were created in-house. Offset and digital printing, with die-cut labels and hand-assembly.
